Who is responsible
FRAwrite is run by Nahom Ghirmay and Abhilash Eldi. We are responsible for the website enquiry information described here. Contact [email protected] about your information.
What we collect and why
When you request a free first report, we collect your email address, your name if you provide it, the date and reference for your request, and, if you arrived from one of our messages, a short batch code identifying that message (never a code that identifies you). We use these details to reply, arrange template setup and discuss your first report. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Our basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract where that applies. For enquiries on behalf of an organisation, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to relevant business enquiries. We also use necessary technical information to protect the form from misuse.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the website and handles form processing and the temporary enquiry record. Email notifications go to the FRAwrite inbox, which uses Google’s Gmail service. These providers process information to provide their services. Website enquiry details are not sent to the report-drafting AI by this form.
Cloudflare and Google operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK. Their published safeguards include the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and contractual safeguards where applicable. How long we keep it
The form’s temporary backup record is automatically removed after 90 days. Cloudflare’s recovery copies may remain for its additional backup recovery period. Email correspondence is separate from this backup.
We keep enquiry emails for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless you become a customer. If you do, we explain the customer retention arrangements during onboarding.
Technical information and cookies
The form temporarily uses your network address to limit repeated requests. We do not store that address in the enquiry database. Cloudflare may process connection and security information as part of hosting and protecting the website.
The site code does not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The demonstration video and fonts are served with the website. Cloudflare security features may use necessary cookies when a security check is required.
If we contacted you first
If you received a message from us before making an enquiry, we found your business contact details on your firm’s website or in a public register, and we use them only to tell fire risk assessment businesses about FRAwrite. We rely on our legitimate interest in reaching businesses that may benefit from the product, we contact each business at most a few times, and we stop as soon as you ask. Reply no thanks to any message, or email [email protected], and we will not contact you again.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your personal information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask for a portable copy where that right applies. Contact [email protected] to make a request.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, email us first and we will reply within five working days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
